In this regard, it is stated that Departme nt of school education Haryana is providing inclusive education to divyang students studying in classes 1st to 12th along with home based education. At present scenario, formal education is not enough to get job in the field. Hence, it has become necessity to provide vocational education along with formal education. So that, divyang students may independent for their earning. Therefore, it has been decided to provide vocational education to divyang students along with his/her formal education in convergence with vocational education under NSQF Scheme.
Objective of convereence of IED-SS students into Vocational Education:HSSPP is already implementing Vocational Education under NSQF scheme in 1074 Govt. Schools with 14 skills (2 or 3 skills in each school) from 2012-13 to 2020-21 under CSS-VSHSE. These 107 4 schools already cover 119 IED Resource center, out of which vocational education is already running in 104 Govt. Schools.
Implementation of Vocational Education:It is pertinent to mention that there is a Sector Skill Council for persons with Disability called as SCPwD (Skill Council for Persons with Disability) under the umbrella of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership model. There are 119 IED resource centres running under IED at Secondary schools at block level out of which 104 Govt. Schools already covered under Vocational Education, wherein classes are already going on from Class 09th to 12th (Level-1 to 4) and Vocational Teachers have a lready been deployed. It is worth mentioning that out of these 104 Schools, there are 97 Schools where Skills recommended by SCPwD (Skill Council for Persons with Disability) are running.
